General Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts concluded between the customer and the sole proprietorship “Soloveyko”, owned by Oleksandra Khyzhniak, for the sale of books in the Ukrainian language within Czech Republic.

3. Products and Conclusion of the Contract

The presentation of products in our online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but rather an invitation to place an order.

By placing an order, you submit a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.

The contract is concluded as soon as you receive an order confirmation from us by email.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are stated in euros and include VAT.

Payment is made by bank transfer to the German IBAN account specified. The bank account details will be provided to the customer after the order has been placed.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery is available exclusively within Czech Republic via Hermes.

Shipping costs are based on the current rates of the shipping service provider and are included in the total order price.

Delivery generally takes place within 3–7 business days after receipt of payment.

If Soloveyko has dispatched the goods to the address provided by the buyer and the customer is not available at that address (for example, due to an incorrect address), the customer shall be liable for the costs associated with the unsuccessful delivery pursuant to Section 304 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

If Soloveyko has dispatched the goods to the address provided by the buyer and the customer refuses to accept the delivery, the customer shall be liable for the costs associated with the unsuccessful delivery pursuant to Section 304 BGB. Soloveyko may claim these additional expenses from the buyer pursuant to Section 304 BGB.

6. Retention of Title

The goods remain our property until payment has been made in full.

7. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. by email or letter).

You may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, although this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, excluding delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal.

We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

You must return the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal.

The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the 14-day period expires.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods if that diminished value results from handling the goods in a way that was not necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

8. Legal Warranty and Liability

The statutory warranty rights apply.

Soloveyko shall only be liable for damage that has not occurred to the delivered goods themselves in cases of intent or gross negligence.

9. Data Protection

Your personal data will be used exclusively for processing your order. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

10. Final Provisions

Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
